USSA 2016-17 Equipment Guidelines attached. Attached are the guidelines for the upcoming season when it comes to equipment. Please review this for your athlete if they are racing USSA & FIS.
Helmet Requirements
HARD SIDED EAR Helmets are a requirement! You can no longer have a soft ear sided helment. MWAR/USSA/FIS all require you to have the hard side ear helmet. Also, for SLALOM (SL) you need to make sure your athlete has the face guard for the helmet. They will practice with it and race with it. It MUST be taken off when practing/racing GIANT SLALOM (GS).
All USSA racers U14 and above participating in GS and Super G events must have a helmet with a FIS approved sticker
