All racers are invited to participate in all six WJR races. Many of our racers also participate in USSA
sanctioned races held throughout the Midwest.

Race Classes
Ski racers are divided into one of six classes by their age. Although there is often a wide range of
competitive ability in each category, all skiers are encouraged to participate to the best of their
abilities. Over the course of the season, as they gain confidence, most racers find that the
improvement they make is very uplifting.

J6 4-8 years of age
J5 9-10 year olds
J4 11-12 year olds
J3 13-14 year olds
J2 15-16 year olds
